— “It is a combination of academics and athletics, which is what we wanted to accomplish,” Rascoe said. “There is a lot of dedication and commitment that is displayed by each one of the people that are being inducted.”

“This is a pretty outstanding group of people,” committee member and retired teacher Scott Gibbs said. “You start counting up all of the contributions that these people have made and it is impressive. It is also nice to see them here with families and their kids around.”

Gibbs also said that he liked that the first class included inductees from different eras of the school’s history.

“That is what makes a small school unique is the different eras and people that all seem to come together in one,” Gibbs said.

There is nothing outstanding or impressive about Ryan Sherman. He has made ZERO contributions. Tell us all about what kind of School Superintendent you REALLY are Ryan. No lies, no denials...only the truth about your tenure. Then lets see how favorably the community views you.

Wondering which of Ryan Sherman's accomplishments led to him being named to the first Westport Wall of Distinction? Was it his record of VERY inappropriate relationships with female employees? His tendancy to break just about every ethical code in his profession? I know! It's his ability to trick his Board of Ed members into thinking he is a good superintendent, and his charisma among parents, preventing them from seeing how he wastes their tax dollars for his own pleasure. Westport produced one heck of a man in Ryan Sherman.
