Tiffany Purkey found the net in the second half for the game-winner. Maura Jebb assisted on the goal for Ti.
Megan Campney recorded the shutout for the Sentinels, turning away five shots.
ELCS 2, Moriah 1
Moriah lost to Elizabethtown-Lewis, 2-1, in Northern Soccer League girls action Oct. 15.
ELCS raced to a 2-0 lead before Moriah settled down to make it a contest. Michaila Callis scored for the Vikings to make it a 2-1 game, but Moriah couldn’t get the equalizer.
Lauren Cross made eight saves for Moriah.
Keene 3, Crown Point 1
Crown Point dropped a 3-1 decision to Keene in Northern Soccer League girls action Oct. 15.
Hunter Spaulding tallied for the Panthers after Keene had grabbed a 3-0 lead in the first half.
Amanda Wolfe had 14 saves for Crown Point.
Minerva-Newcomb 9, Schroon 0
Schroon Lake was blanked by Minerva-Newcomb, 9-0, in Northern Soccer League girls action Oct. 15.
Mackenzie Winslow had four goals and two assists for the Mountaineers, who held a 47-10 advantage in shots.
Molly Wisser made 32 saves in goal for Schroon Lake.
