CROP Walk a success

To the Times of Ti:

Thank you to everyone who walked or donated to the annual Ticonderoga Area CROP Walk. We are happy to report that $8,640 was raised to serve people locally, around the world and when disasters hit. This means $2,160 will be coming back to our local food pantries.

We had a beautiful day to walk and show we care. It was great to see people of all ages walking together: families, grandparents with their grandchildren, students, singles and groups. Our multi-aged group joined 1,200 other CROP Walks around the country on that weekend. Americans from all walks of life walked to show how much they cared to help the hungry.

Our committee is already planning for our 10th annual CROP Walk and we welcome everyone interested join us.
