•Games of Chance referendum: The referendum for a Games of Chance Law which was supposed to be on the ballot for the Nov. 6 election has been delayed. The Essex County Board of Elections provided Corey with the wrong format to submit the referendum, which led to it being rejected for this election. They are considering either holding a special election or waiting for the next primary or general election.

She pointed out that the costs of health insurance, workers compensation, and the retirement system already exceed that amount. Another meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30, during which they will continue to work on the budget.
•Computer server: The town is still looking into options for replacing the currently outdated computer server. They had most recently consulted with Dell Computers. Corey is confident that by the first of the year, they will have a new server.

He informed them that they would need to install an Ansul Fire Suppression System. Options are currently being explored.
