To the Times of Ti:
I was so pleased to see that the repairs to the pipeline that spans the LaChute River that leads to the Ticonderoga wastewater treatment plant are going to be quite a bit less than initially expected.
The town of Ticonderoga officials and Supervisor (Deb) Malaney should be commended for their efforts, along with the town engineers and professional consultants that found the problems on the trestle, developed a solution and provided a conservative construction estimate to make sure that there would be no hidden surprises. This approach should be taken with all infrastructure projects.
