Everyone in the room is eager to point them out. They’re naturals, they say. A handful of lessons and the only sweat on their brows is from the close school-building air compliments of a warmer-than-average spring evening.
The idea that dancing is impossibly complex for some is as distant in their mind as scoring a dance “routine” is for Hier. They moved through their paces; few words spoiling neutral faces. LoGuercio stopped by regularly over the 90-minute session, mostly with tips on how they could transition from one dance step to another.
Ballroom dancing is dead. Long live ballroom dancing.
