Abortion more than an ‘issue’

To the Editor:

An article on page five of The North Countryman on April 28, titled “Community remembers the Holocaust,” definitely needs to bring our thoughts and hopes to our present day.

In our local community of Plattsburgh, over 1,000 tiny lives have been exterminated and hauled off in a medical waste truck.

As in the former Holocaust, our present situation begs attention to the many millions of lives taken by abortion.

In many cases abortion has declined into an “issue.”

Our descendants may ask, “What were you doing when all this was happening?”
