— The Night Shadows brought down the house with their performance of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” at the annual Ticonderoga High School Pops Concert March 29.

With solos by Jordan Woods and Adam Losher, the all-male choir danced and sang Gaga’s signature hit as the audience laughed and cheered.

The concert, which featured about 90 students, included the Night Shadows, the Sentinel Big Band, the school concert band and the mixed chorus.

With the exception of Gaga performance, the concert was a tribute to the music of Motown under the direction of music teacher Nelson Shapiro. Students presented music of Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, The Surpremes and others.

The concert band’s performance of “The Soulful Sixties,” a medley of Motown hits, drew a standing ovation as the concert concluded.
