Barber said the success of “The Best Fourth in the North” depends on fund raising. She urged people to support the event.
“If you would like to make a donation to support the celebration you can do so via mail or at any of the fundraisers,” Barber said. “All donations are tax deductible.”
Donations can be mailed to 42 Burgoyne Road, Ticonderoga 12883, Attention Debbie Barber, committee chair.

“‘The Best Fourth In The North’ celebration attracts many visitors to the Ticonderoga area every year, which supports local businesses and the local economy,” Barber said. “The celebration for 2012 will be held July 1-4. ‘The Best Fourth in the North’ committee is dedicated to providing area residents and visitors with the best Fourth of July experience in the North Country.”
