— The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce March “After Business Mixer” will be held on Thursday, March 15, at Crown Point Telephone/Crown Point Network Technologies 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Sponsors providing door prizes will be The Burgoyne Grill, Glens Falls National Bank and the Wagon Wheel Restaurant.

The Crown Point Telephone/Crown Point Network Technologies office is located at 2829 NYS Route 9N in Crown Point.

The chamber’s “After Business Mixers” provide a networking forum for area business people in addition to showcasing the site of the host as well as promoting the door prize sponsors. All area chamber members, business people and their employees are invited to attend.

“Please join us for a night of networking as well as a chance to visit the Crown Point Telephone/Crown Point Network Technologies office, speak to their staff, and learn about the exciting project they are working on,” said Matthew Courtright, chamber executive director. “Take this opportunity to not only network but to learn more about another business in the area. Be sure to bring business cards for door prizes and to give out throughout the evening. Networking is a key component of Chamber membership and marketing your business. I invite everyone to take advantage of this and all networking opportunities.”

Although an RSVP is not required, they are appreciated and can be made by calling 585-6619, emailing chamberinfo@ticonderogany.com or via the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

Crown Point Network Technologies is moving into a new market placing fiber optic cables throughout downtown Ticonderoga and the surrounding area, focusing primarily at this time on commercial use. At the mixer they will be unavailing the new logo, name and plans for the new subsidiary that will be serving Ticonderoga.

“This is an exciting time for our family of companies and we are anxiously waiting to share our vision and goals for the Ticonderoga community with area businesses, leaders and residents,” stated Shana Macey, president of Crown Point Telephone and Crown Point Network Technologies.
