Elizabethtown — Adirondack Community Action Programs, Inc., announced that Executive Director Alan Jones has been elected President of the New York State Community Action Agency’s (NYSCAA’s) Board. The statewide board brings together Community Action Professionals from all parts of the state to support the work of Community Action Agencies. The appointment was made official at the Annual Conference held in Rochester in June.
“I am both honored and humbled to be elected by my peers in Community Action,” Jones said. “I find great personal inspiration and reward from being a part of this network and will work diligently as president to ensure the future success and sustainability.”
