First Night festivities will take place in 11 different venues around Saranac Lake New Year's Eve.

continued At the Saranac Lake Library, children’s comedy and magic show Pipsqueak will perform from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by the rap of Fluent from 8 to 10 p.m.
At St. Bernard’s Church, the Saranac Lake High School vocal ensembles will sing from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by gypsy jazz band Minor Swing from 8 to 10 p.m.
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will host folk and blues artist Sven Curth from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by blues and jazz artists Sorcha and Jo from 9 to 11 p.m.
Finally, at Will Rogers, ADK Jazz will perform from 7 to 9 p.m.
Admission to all venues is gained by showing the First Night® 2013 Button which can be purchased for $12 for adults at Ampersound Music, Price Chopper Supermarket (Lake Placid), Books & Baskets, Blueline Sports, Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Placid Visitor Bureau.
