Elizabethtown — The Elizabethtown-Lewis Lady Lions were victorious hosting the second annual Alzheimer's Awareness girls basketball tournament Nov. 27-28, opening with a 46-19 win over the Schroon Lake Lady Wildctas.

Lily Whalen led all scorers with 14 points in the win, while Shonna Brooks added 13, Jasmin Barnes 6, Jennifer McGinn 4, Angel Barnes 3, Kylee Cassavaugh 2, Savannah Graves 2 and Kearsten Ashline 2.
Lindsay Reynolds scored 6 points for the Lady Wildcats, while Gabe Harvey added 4.
In the championship game, The Lions scored a 45-22 win over Ticonderoga as Whalen again led all scorers with 12 points. Brooks and Ashline each scored 9 points, while Jasmin Barnes and McGinn each scored 4, Emma Desogra 3 and Graves 2.
