Ticonderoga — A Ticonderoga man convicted this summer of sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl was sentenced Sept. 22 to 12 years in prison, to be followed by 20 years of post-release supervision. Richard Brown, 42, was convicted Aug. 8 in Essex County Court of five counts of first-degree sexual abuse for abusing the girl on two occasions in 2009.
Judge Richard Meyer sentenced Brown and sent him to jail to await processing by the state Department of Corrections.
