NYSEG distributes free dry ice, bottled water in Clinton, Essex counties

— New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) is distributing a round of free dry ice and bottled water today (Thursday, Sept. 1) to Essex and Clinton county customers who remain out of power from the impacts associated with Tropical Storm Irene. Supplies are distributed on a first come, first served basis, until they run out.

The distribution points are as follows:


•Au Sable Forks: Town of Jay Community Center, 11 School Lane (Available all day until supplies run out)

•Au Sable Forks: Fire Department (Available 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. or until supplies run out)

•Keeseville: Keeseville Fire Department, 8 Pleasant St. (Available 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or until supplies run out)

•Lewis: NYSEG (next to Essex County 911 Center), 730 Stowersville Road, Exit 32 (Available all day until supplies run out)

•Morrisonville: Fire Department, 1927 Route 22 (Available at 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. or until supplies run out)

•Plattsburgh: South Plattsburgh Fire Department, 4105 Route 22 (Available at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until supplies run out)

•West Chazy: Fire Department, 7656 State Route 22
(Available at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. or until supplies run out)
