Plattsburgh From the blog, "The Lobster Tank: Quadruple Header," on Oct. 21:
It's 3:10 p.m., and I am heading out to try and get coverage at four different sporting events, starting with AuSable Valley and Plattsburgh High girls soccer; then cross country with PHS hosting Seton Catholic and Saranac Lake; then PHS and Peru swimming at Stafford Middle School; and finally Peru at AuSable Valley football. Hopefully, I can be up to the task. Here we go...

4:10 p.m. and I am at the first event. AVCS is trying to keep their hold of second place in Division I against PHS, who beat the Patriots 2-0 in their first meeting. Six minutes in and the game is scoreless.
4:39 p.m. heading to cross country. Karlie Neale made two spctacular saves to keep the game scoreless in the 33rd minute.
4:45 p.m. AVCS scores just as I am leaving after three more great saves by Neale.
4:58 p.m. the action was fast at the cross country meet between PHS, Seton and Saranac Lake. It looks like Seton will sweep in both boys and girls. Off to swimming.

5:46 p.m. Peru is honoring their senior swimmers during the intermission.
5:56 p.m. As the PHS senior swimmers are honored, it's time to head to the fourth and final event of the night, Peru at AVCS football. Peru is the top seed in Class B, while AVCS is the two seed in Class C.
