Beekmantown beats Indians

The Beekmantown Eagles scored three goals in the first half en route to beating the Peru Indians 4-1 Oct. 4.

Brendan Carnright opened the scoring in the 15th minute on a MacCullen Cope assist, with Adam Goldfarb scoring in the 20th minute (Austin Burl) and Dylan Riley scored in the 27th minute ( Keon Jahanbakhsh ) to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead before Sean Harrigan scored on a penalty kick for the Indians in the 39th minute.

In the second half, Burl tallied a goal in the 55th minute, unassisted.

Cougars blank Patriots

The Northeastern Clinton Cougars broke open their contest with the AuSable Valley Patriots in the second half, scoring five times for a 7-0 win Oct. 4.

Kyle McCarthy scored three goals for the Cougars, while Colby Provost, Cole Cooper, Rob Armstrong and Tyler Bosley also scored goals.

Josh Rabideau had a pair of saves in the shutout.

Hornets shutout Red Storm

The Plattsburgh High Hornets scored four goals in the first half as they continued on for a 6-0 win against the Saranac Lake Red Storm Oct. 4.

Jake Morrow scored a pair of goals for the Hornets in the 30th and 43rd minute. Jack Tolosky (39th), David Ferris (fifth), David Carpenter (23rd) and Rob Fout (51st) also scored goals.

Ricky Schmidt made 10 saves for the Red Storm.

Knights defeat Blue Bombers

The Seton Catholic Knights scored four goals in the first half en route to a 6-1 victory over the Lake Placid Blue Bombers Oct. 4.

Adam Tedford scored goals in the 16th, 30th and 51st minute to pace the Knights offense, while T.J. Orrichio scored in the 66th minute, Patrick Maddix scored in the 27th minute and Keegan Frenya scored in the 40th minute with just 17 seconds to play in the opening half.
