Hornets drop single match in winning three on the golf course

Dustin Fischer carded a season-best 36 to lead the Red Storm past the Eagles May 10.

Pat McHugh added a 37 and Kyle Dora shot a 38, while Michael Phelan (40) and Devin Darrah (43) also scored medal wins.

Taylor O'Connor halved for the Eagles with Braxton Tissot, both shooting a 45.

NCCS 5, Peru 1

Nolan Reid carded a 41 to lead the Cougars past the Indians May 10.

Bobby Dietsche shot a 46, while Alex Duffy (48), Eric Auger (50) and Zach Guay (53) scored medal wins.

Tyler Lemza got Peru's win, shooting a 49.

PHS 6, Seton 0

Ethan Votraw and Gus Rietsema each shot 41 as the Hornets swept past the Knights May 10.

Lucas Wood (44), Connor Benoit (44), Cody Dergham (53) and Andre Poirier (50) completed the sweep, while Will Pellerin had the low round for the Knights with a 49.

PHS 6, Moriah 0

Ethan Votraw shot a 36 to lead the Hornets past the Vikings in a sweep May 11.

Lucas Wood (41), Gus Rietsema (43), Connor Benoit (45), Andrew Poirier (51) and Nick Dodd (56) completed the sweep.

Cameron Keysor shot a 44 to lead the Chiefs past the Knights May 11.

Nick Lees (47), Kolby Keysor (51), Jordan Wright (51) and Nick Drown (54) scored wins for the Chiefs, while Will Pellerin (44) won the lone match for the Knights.

NCCS 3, Saranac 3

(NCCS wins on strokes, 185-192)

The top three Cougar golfers show round of 45 or under May 12, helping the team earn a tiebreaker win over the Chiefs.

Nolan Reid carded a 44 for the Cougars, while Bobbie Dietsche and Alex Duffy each shot 45.

Jordan Wright (52), Cameron Keysor (49) and Nick Drown (49) scored medal wins for the Chiefs.
