Crews from several area fire departments battled a structure fire in Saranac Lake over the weekend.
The Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department received reports of a blaze at 10:42 p.m. Saturday. Five trucks and 24 members responded to 647 County Route 18, a residence on Forest Home Road.
Members of the Paul Smiths-Gabriels, Bloomingdale, and Lake Placid volunteer fire departments provided mutual aid. Lake Placid sent a tanker truck to the scene and one pumper to the Saranac Lake station for stand-by assistance.
Bloomingdale sent two trucks and 11 members.
No additional information was immediately available Monday morning. All crews were back in-service by 3:25 a.m.
