Amateur photographer Joe Charles of Plattsburgh, N.Y., snapped this image of what could be "Champ" the Lake Champlain monster (center in water). The poor quality image was taken through a built-in cell phone camera. Charles, who said he strongly believes the object was a large animal moving north on the lake, took the photo from a vantage point in Crown Point, N.Y., near the bridge construction site early morning April 27.
