Two North Hudson residents were arrested May 3 for allegedly stealing a .30-06 rifle from a residence in Newcomb.
State Police in Indian Lake said Karen M. Caza, 30, and Anthony J. Babbie, 27, allegedly entered the home at 163 Marcy Lane and stole the weapon sometime before May 2, when the crime was reported.
Police arrested them the following day at about 10:10 p.m. at 58 Caza Turn where they both reside.
Caza was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Newcomb Court.
Babbie was charged with three felonies: second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal sale of a fire arm.
He was arraigned in the Town of Schroon Court and sent to Essex County Jail.
