Council voting change defeated

PLATTSBURGH - A proposed change to the manner in which the City of Plattsburgh Common Council casts it votes, that would rotate the voting order, was defeated May 5. The Council vote ended in a tie, which was broken by Mayor Donald Kasprzak with a no vote. Kasprzak said he thought the change might allow for agenda manipulation of certain votes.
