North Creek seemed so quiet on Sunday afternoon for being White Water weekend. Maybe everyone had moved to Riverside to watch the coming event. It was a cool windy weekend with some sprinkles.
I hope all the ladies had a great Mother's Day. A great day to receive beautiful flowers to last you all summer. Ron and Kathy Allen were pleased to have both of their mothers share Mother's Day. Mothers were Emma Parson's and Rose Allen.
Fred and Ruth Allen enjoyed a week at their river house even though the weather was cool and rainy. Jack and Diane Metzger from Jackson, New Jersey spent a few days with Fred and Ruth. The roar of the Hudson River let them know that there had been some real flooding.
Agnes Straight and Myrtle Rist enjoyed going to a dog show in Syracuse one day last week. Myrtle has several tall poodle show dogs.
Rosalie Russell was pleased to have many of her family at her home on Saturday to help with the outside spring cleanup.
Ben and Mavis Miller had a new roof put on with the help of their family over the weekend.
Many ladies enjoyed a great luncheon at the Wevertown Community Center Saturday. A fun time for all. It seemed so good to see so many mother and daughters. Even some three generations.
Fabiann Conlon took his mother, Kjerstia to Denny's early Sunday morning for breakfast. Later, Ryan and Keisha Sprague, Dezore, Khaleah and Yanden Cleveland took Kjerstia to Andie's in North Creek for lunch.
Many in the area enjoyed going to car shows on saturday. It is that time of year again.
Logan Wemett and his friend, Tabby Lapell are going to New Orleans. They've rented a place down there and are moving at the end of the month.
