Police make arrest in Windsor County bank robbery

SPRINGFIELD - Today, May 10 at approximately 3:45PM, the Springfield Police Department in Massachusetts arrested Brian Aubuchon, 34 of Randolph. Aubuchon was arrested on Oak Street, near the Pot Belly Pub, in Springfield, as a fugitive from justice.

Aubuchon was taken into custody without incident. Arresting officers from the Springfield Police Department's gang unit located drugs and a large amount of money in Aubuchon's possession; however a weapon was not located.

Aubuchon is also being held in Springfield for his outstanding warrants from Vermont for assault and robbery, stemming from Monday's robbery in Hartland, and for escape from furlough, stemming from a 2010 robbery in Braintree, Mass.

The Vermont State Police encourage the community to come forward with any additional information; especially information related to the other white males believed to be in Aubuchon's company at the time of Monday's robbery in Hartland.
