FORT EDWARD - Robert Caprood, 46, of Fort Edward was arrested as a fugitive of the law last week. He applied for public assistance in Washington County and was found to be wanted in New Hampshire, police said.
Washington County Department of Social Services officials found a warrant for his arrest on a stalking charge, according to police.
He was arraigned in Fort Edward Town Court and was sent to Washington County Jail without bail, pending extradition proceedings, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
