Rotary donates to Buster Brush Fund

MIDDLEBURY-On behalf of the Middlebury Rotary Club, local businessman Eric Denu presented Jim Needham and Matt Brush, trustees of the Fletcher "Buster" Brush Memorial Scholarship Fund, with an undisclosed contribution. Buster Brush was a long-time member of the Middlebury club.

The Rotary funds were raised last year at the club's Buster Brush Memorial Golf Tournament.

This year's Brush tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 20, at the Neshobe Golf Course in Brandon.

Brush scholarships are awarded to two high school seniors, one in Vermont and one in New Hampshire. Students must exemplify Brush's high personal character and sense of community service.

Brush is remembered for outstanding academics, school spirit, and community service. To learn more about the scholarship, see www.brushscholarship.org.
