LAKEGEORGE - After a sold out week-long run last summer, the non-profit Last of the Mohicans Outdoor Drama is moving this summer to a larger venue and will be producing 14 nights of entertainment over more than three weeks. Shows will be performed evenings on the grounds of the Wild West Ranch on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from July 29 through Aug. 20.
The grassroots, non-profit group is now seeking volunteers to assist in productions - both pre-production duties and during performances.
Those available to help out with set construction, ticket sales, and special effects are being sought, along with ushers, wardrobe assistants, house crew members, and wardrobe assistants. Volunteers, who need to commit to a schedule and provide their own transportation, are also needed to deliver flyers to area hotels. Training will be provided, but experience is preferred. To help out, contact drama producer Steve O'Connor at 681-9977. For details, see www.LastoftheMohicans.org.
