Kylee Cassavaugh finished needing only a home run to complete the cycle.
However, she did wrap out three hits, including a single, double and triple on her way to driving in four runs in the Lady Lions 14-8 win over the Warriors April 26.
Hannah Bruno and Renee Marcotte each drove in three runs and hit triples for the Warriors, but a late inning surge was cut short by inclement weather, which ended the game after six of the scheduled seven innings.
Kearstin Ashline and Cheyenne Sousie also drove in three runs in the win for the Lions, while Andrea Le Vien struck out nine batters in picking up her second win of the season.
ELCS 13, Schroon Lake 8
The Lady Lions kept their trend of scoring early and often going, collecting 10 runs in the opening three innings to score a win against the Lady Wildcats April 27.
Kylee Cassavuagh continue to hit well, driving in four more runs for the Lions while hitting a double. Jen McGinn and Sierra Wimett each collected two hits for the Lions, while Kearstin Ashline picked up the win on the mound with six strikeouts.
M\N 19, Keene 3
Minerva-Newcomb scored 13 runs in the opening three innings to get past the Lady Beavers April 27.
Amanda Boyle pitched a complete game for the Beavers.
Peru 16, Lake Placid 3
The Lady Blue Bombers took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the second inning before the Lady Indians scored the final 15 runs of the game April 27.
Dani Baletsrini hit a nome run to help the Blue Bombers take and early lead.
Dani Dayton recorded the victory for the Indians and finished a home run shy of the cycle, driving in six.
Brianna Padron and Taylor Rock also collected three hits, with each wrapping out a triple.
