Chronic condition workshop announced

SARANACLAKE- A six-week workshop called "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions" will be held for adults with a chronic condition and their caregivers at Adirondack Medical Center, Saranac Lake. The evidence based program, developed by Stanford Patient Education Research Center, teaches self-management techniques and addresses several topics. The sessions are free and include a copy of the book which shares a title with the workshop. The class will be held Tuesday, May 10 through June 14, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Pre-registration required. Please call 523-8353 by May 4 to reserve your seat. The event is sponsored by Eastern Adirondack Health Care Network, Franklin County Public Health, and Adirondack Medical Center.
