Bolton Seniors' activities set

•Tuesday, May 10 - Trip to the Saratoga Racino. To participate, call Pat Merchant at 644-9359.

•Wednesday, May 11 - Trip to Albany for a historic tour and a viewing of the city's decorative plantings for their annual Tulip Festival. Lunch at Lombardo's Restaurant. Meet at the Bolton Senior Center at 8:45 a.m. Carpool leaves Bolton at 9 a.m. For more details, call Lorraine at 644-9247.

•Wednesday, May 18 - Bowling at Sparetime Lanes, Lake George, 10 a.m. Lunch follows at Chinatown Restaurant.

•Thursday, May 19 - Senior of the Year Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. Fort William Henry Hotel. See details on the event elsewhere in this column. For reservations, Contact Pat Pratt at 644-9459.

•Wednesday, May 25 - Bingo, 10:30 a.m. at Bolton Senior Center. Participants share the cost of submarine sandwiches for lunch, plus bring a dessert and chips.

'Girlfriends Getaway' coming soon

There is still time to make reservations for the Girlfriends Getaway weekend in Bolton which was such a hit with participants and local merchants in its debut year of 2010.

The event, set for the weekend of May 13 through 15 at the Sagamore Resort, will feature 18 workshops, presentations, and classes, plus a luncheon and fashion show. This year's keynote speaker is Benita Zahn, Co-Anchor of WNYT Newschannel 13, plus Marcie Fraser, Health & Fitness Reporter for YNN News. For details, see: www.girlfriendsgetawaybolton.com.
