This has been a week of unbelievable weather nationwide and in our own area. We have a lot to be thankful for. Across seven states, over 350 have died due to storms. Work on roads may be slow, but remember how hard the road crews are working and the roads will be repaired.

Mother's Day is May 8. Remember the special ladies in your life. It could be a mother, aunt, cousin or special friend.

John (Beaner) and Sheri Cleveland have moved from the North River Trailer Park to Brant Lake.

Nancy Studnicky is remembering her mom, Katharine, everyday and especially now that it is almost Mother's Day and what would be Katharine's 80th birthday.

Roger Mosher helped Earl Allen all day on Saturday to fix Earl's bulldozer.

Paul and Patty Cleveland and Chris Sprague were able to go home after the flooding of the trailer park. They stayed with their son, Ryan, and family.


The Community Compassions of the Sodom Community Church will hold their annual spaghetti supper fundraiser May 14 at the Wevertown Community Center, 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased ahead by calling Keisha Sprague at 532-9150 or Kathy Allen at 251-2079. Tickets can also be bought at the door.
