Man stopped on Route 4

On March 24, Vermont State Troopers arrest, Benjamin Thompson, 37, of Gilmanton, N.H., for driving with a criminally suspended license. Members of the Vermont State Police Traffic Operations Team were patrolling Route 4 in the Rutland and Killington area, when one of the troopers stopped Thompson's vehicle for speeding and a DMV records check revealed that Thompson was under suspension in Vermont for a prior DUI convictions. Thompson was cited to appear in court and was released.
