TICONDEROGA - Jennifer E. Mattison, 44, of Ticonderoga, and Todd W. Porter, 42, of Hague, were both taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington last week after a Route 9N crash just north of Hague, according to Ticonderoga Police.
Police said that the Toyota sedan Mattison was driving hit a patch of black ice and slid into the northbound lane. Porter was heading north in a Chevrolet sedan, and the two vehicles collided nearly head-on, said police.
No tickets were issued, but the investigation is continuing, according to police.
