RUTLAND-Like thousands of struggling towns and cities across the nation, many Vermont towns have been hard-hit by America's economic downturn and are reeling from economic challenges facing their citizens.
Vermont, however, is also a source for innovative ideas and pioneering initiatives now helping to rebuild and revive struggling communities. This know-how needs to be shared.
Great Jones Production and the 14th Green Mountain Film Festival will screen "The Blood in this Town," the Rutland-focused documentary about community revitalization. The film appear at the festival in a "Sneak Preview" and community building forum event to promote community revitalization in Vermont on Saturday, March 26, at 6:15 p.m at the Pavilion Auditorium in Montpelier.
