North Country Congressman Bill Owens will hold his first in-person town hall meeting of the year later this week.
According to Owens, he'll deliver brief opening remarks about job creation and economic development, followed by a question-and-answer session with constituents.
"I am pleased to have the opportunity to provide a forum for Upstate New Yorkers to voice their concerns and discuss what is important to them," Owens said.
"The best way to solve problems is to have an open and civil discussion on the issues facing the North Country."
The town hall meeting is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Wakefield Recital Hall of SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
Owens encourages all constituents to attend.
