"We are the first thing people see when they enter town," she said. "We are hoping that is a positive thing for us.
Businesses have struggled to stay afloat in recent years in the town of Newcomb. Despite the presence of two other stores in Newcomb, Draper is confident that they will each target a different group of locals as well as visitors and tourists and succeed.
Dedicated to being a local family business, Draper and Kirby hope to serve their local community with delivery services to the elderly and those who cannot venture from their homes during the winter months.
"It as all come together and we are really excited," said Draper. "We are hoping for a great summer season."
