JCS superintendent involved in car accident

WEVERTOWN- Johnsburg Central School (JCS) superintendent, Mike Marwika, was involved in a car accident late Tuesday evening in Wevertown while traveling to his home in Warrensburg after attending a school board meeting at JCS.

Markwica reportedly had pneumonia and was driving with a temperature of 102 degrees. The exact cause of the accident was unknown at the time of this report.

State Police and local emergency rescue personnel responded to the scene of the accident and transported Markwica to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment. He suffered no injuries, according to Johnsburg Central School and returned home Wednesday.
