Orwell pays legal fees

Orwell will start paying legal fees stemming from a $128,000 zoning lawsuit dating back to 2007. Recently, the Vermont Supreme Court determined the Town of Orwell's zoning bylaws were problematic after Clyde's Place sued the town relating to construction work on Mt. Independence Road. Payment of the legal fees were approved by voters on Town Meeting Day.
