Hamer leaves Ilsley Public Library

Judah Hamer, librarian for youth services at Ilsley Public Library since March 2009 accepted the directorship of Rutherford Public Library in New Jersey.

"Judah has done a terrific job serving youngsters and their families," said David Clark, Ilsley director. "We joke that his fans range in size from 16 inches to over 6 feet. They are all going to miss him."

Hamer previously served as assistant director of Rutland Free Library, director of Pierson Library in Shelburne, president of the Vermont Library Association, treasurer of the Green Mountain Library Consortium, and Young Adult Services Coordinator of Bergen County Cooperative Library System, New Jersey.
