PITTSFORD - It's that time of year again so the Rutland County Humane Society (RCHS) would like to remind you to license your dog.

You'll need to have them up-to-date on their rabies shot so please check with your veterinarian and make an appointment, if necessary.

Did you know that Vermont state law requires all cats to have their rabies shots, too? If you're not sure, please check with your vet to make sure your dog and cat are up to date on their shots.

Three year old. Spayed female. Siberian Husky mix.

I'm a real beauty with a shiny golden coat which is as soft as can be. I enjoy being with people and will happily hang out with you for some lovin'. I'm also pretty smart and I already know how to Sit and Shake. I like to go for walks and, since I'm a Husky mix, exercise is important for me.

Two year old. Neutered male. Pit Bull/Boxer mix.

I'm a super handsome guy who loves to play with toys, especially tug toys. I also know a whole bunch of commands including Sit, Shake, Sit Pretty, Down and Stay. I'm friendly and fun and I enjoy being with people.

I'm a young dog who loves to go for walks and play so I'm looking for an owner who will give me lots of exercise and play time.

Two year old. Spayed female. Domestic Short Hair Brown Tiger.

Ok, I have been here way too long. I arrived at the shelter on January 27, had my spay surgery and then caught a little cold but now I am all better and ready to go home. I am a sweet little girl and enjoy a nice warm bed to curl up in when I take my naps.

Three year old. Neutered male. Domestic Long Hair Gray and Cream.

Peek-a-boo. As you can tell from my photo I love to curl up in tight spaces. This is because it is warm and I feel very safe. I have been through a lot of changes so I am a bit shy at first. My friends here at the shelter have found that I can be very loving and I like to snuggle in your lap.
