Duell and Bellstedt married

THURMAN - Karen Ann Bellstedt of Mohawk, N.Y. and Karl J. Duell IV of Thurman were united in marriage on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 at the South Glens Falls Baptist Church. The Rev. Bob Hermann performed the double-ring ceremony.

Serving as maid of honor was the bride's sister, Jessica Bellstedt. The best man was Luke Duell, brother of the groom.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in Thurman at the "Taste of Poland" Restaurant on Bear Pond Road. About 180 guests attended. The newlyweds left for an evening at the Queensbury Hotel and departed the next morning for a four-day honeymoon trip to Puerto Rico. Upon their return, they will be making their home in Warrensburg.

The bride is the daughter of Larry Bellstedt and stepmother Barbara of Mohawk and Pamela Bellstedt of Dolgeville. The groom is the son of Kent and Glenda Duell of Thurman. The newlyweds are graduates of the Center for Natural Wellness in Albany and are employed at the Riverstone Plaza.
