Bakers Mills News

We are sorry to hear about the death of Patricia (Pat) Mosher. She passed away while in Florida.

Saturday was a great day for so many to attend the skiing party at Camp Triumph in Bakers Mills. Refreshments were available for all. Adults as well as youth had a great time.

There was a great ceremony on Saturday for the different scouts. It was held at Point O' Pines in Brant Lake. Dauphin Conlon, along with five others participated in the "crossing over" to become a Boy Scout. It was a great event to make the boys feel honored. So many badges were presented. The reversal of their arrow was given to the "New" Boy Scouts. Kjerstia was pleased to attend this event for her grandson, Dauphin. Fabiann Conlon, his father, mother, step-father, brother, sister and Josh and Melanie Kennedy were in attendance. A buffet meal was served after the presentations. Good luck to all.

Ryan and Keisha Sprague, Dezore and Yanden Cleveland enjoyed having dinner with Fabiann and Amber Conlon, and Kurt and Nate Fuller.

Bill Conlon took Berniece Conlon to Tennessee to visit Neil and Doris Dunkley. Berniece spent her birthday with them.

Our whole area has been plenty of snow this year. This helps in with so many that like out door sports. Gore was very busy during President's week vacation .

Black Mountain Motel is happy to have so many enjoy meals and rooms this winter.

We also want to thank all the EMTs for their faithfulness at being there for all their calls.

Happy Birthday

Tim Allen, Duaine Allen, Julia Allen, Chad Lewis, Thomas Schilinsk, Jim Cook, Ron Allen Sr, Rusty Heath, Gertrude Howe, James Cook and Mary Nevins.

Enjoy each and every day.
