Hubbardton seniors program starts

HUBBARDTON-The Hubbardton Senior Connection program is up and running, according to community leader Dick Nordmeyer. The program includes a lunch every first and third Thursday of each month; the events are catered and served at Hubbardton Town Hall at noon.

The cost is $3.25 for seniors, and $4.25 for others. Socializing, entertainment or a program are planned after meals.

The menu for Thursday, March 3, is hand-carved roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, winter squash, dinner roll, frosted carrot cake, plus milk and coffee. Call Trudy Booth for reservations at 802-273-2953.

Seating is limited. An entree will be provided but attendees are asked to bring a side dish, salad or desert. A free will donation is accepted. Entertainment is included.

The HSC is also planning a pot-luck dinner on Friday, March 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Hubbardton Town Hall. All residents of the community are welcome. Contact Trudy at 802-273-2953 for reservations.
