Morrison graduates basic training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Commander Heather L. Morrison, U.S.C.G. receives her Commander Shoulder Boards during her recent promotion ceremony in December 2010 in Washington, D.C. Her shoulder boards are being presented her by her sister LCDR Stephanie A. Morrison, U.S.C.G. and Heather's husband, LCDR Peter J. Simonds, U.S.C.G and their son, Noah. Commander Morrison is a 1990 graduate of AuSable Valley Central School and is the daughter of Don and Connie Morrison and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Southmayd of Jay.

Zimmerman re-enlists in Guard

LATHAM-Maj. Gen. Patrick A. Murphy, the Adjutant General, announces the recent re-enlistment of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their continuing commitment to serve community, state and nation as part of the Army National Guard.

Sergeant First Class Matthew Zimmerman from Saranac Lake has re-enlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2-108th Infantry.

Konstantinidis re-enlists in Guard

LATHAM- Major General Patrick A. Murphy, the Adjutant General, announces the recent reenlistment of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their continuing commitment to serve community, state and nation as part of the Army National Guard.

Specialist Andrew Konstantinidis from Saranac Lake, has re-enlisted to continue service with the Company A, 2-108th Infantry.

Liska re-enlists in Guard

Specialist James Liska from Saranac Lake, has re-enlisted to continue service with the Company B, 2-108th Infantry.

Hilborne graduates basic

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- Air National Guard Airman First Class Laura A. Hilborne graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

She is the daughter of Abbi Hilborne of Chesterfield St., Keeseville. Hilborne graduated in 2009 from Ausable Valley High School.
