NORTHRIVER - A Route 28 man is charged with felony grand larceny and burglary on June 18 incident.
Christopher J. Sprague, 31, is charged with unlawfully entering a Main Street residence, where he allegedly stole various household items and the homeowner's vehicle.
Sprague fled the scene, and the vehicle was recovered a short time later near his residence. Sprague was taken into custody without incident and several of the stolen items were recovered. Based on the investigation it was determined Sprague was acquainted with the victims and familiar with the area.
Sprague was arrested for burglary in the second degree, a class C felony, and grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony. He was arraigned at the Chester Town Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
