Murder convictions reversed

PLATTSBURGH-Edward Dashnaw, 42, who was convicted in 2007 for the killing Lorraine and David Donivan, will receive a new trial.The Appellate Division of the State Supreme Court reversed Dashnaw's conviction June 16, saying that some of the statements he provided to police, when he did not have a lawyer present, should not have been used in his trial. Both Donivans were stabbed to death.
