Library makes summer plans

JOHNSBURG - The Town of Johnsburg Library has received a grant from International Paper Company to increase their large type collection. Starting July 11 the library will be open Mondays in July and Aug from 9 a.m. to noon. The library wants to invite kids to join in for the summer reading program. Prizes will be given out for books read each week. July 13 Bernadette Hoffman will be here with "Our Natural Neighbors." She brings some of her wild friends with her. July 20 Lady Slipper Woman will read "Everyone Knows What a Dragon Looks Like". August 3, Pete the Pirate will perform "Pete the Pirate's Sea to Sea," and August 10 will bring our favorite Irish storyteller Bairbre McCarthy. All programs will begin at 10:30 a.m. and are free to the public. Our newest DVDs are Biutiful, The Company Men, True Grit and The Adjustment Bureau.
