King's School' seeks teachers, awards athletes

HADLEY-The privately operated King's School in Hadley is now seeking people to teach courses at the High, Intermediate, and Elementary School levels.

Instructors at The King's School teach in lieu of tuition as their children and grandchildren attend the school. The King's School provides a Christ-centered environment with exceptional academic and individual student goals, a representative of the school said this week.

School's athletes honored

The King's School held is annual semi-formal Sports Banquet on May 20 at the Hiland Park Golf Club in Queensbury.

Various athletic awards were granted, accompanied by food, dancing and musical entertainment by Sound Solutions, LLC.

In preparation for the Banquet event, King's School students and staff participated in dance lessons with an emphasis on social dance etiquette.

Ballroom dancing, including Fox Trot, Swing and the Waltz were just some of the dances that all the young women, whom all had full dance cards, enjoyed throughout the evening.

Highlights included the following awards: Soccer MVP to Ben Sykes, Basketball MVP to Eddie Allen, Soccer MVP to Brianna Cordis, Basketball MVPto Naomi Garrah, and an All-Sports Award to Hannah Hopkins.

"The event was filled with laughter, dancing and joy," a representative for the school said.
