ROUSES POINT - John F. Huchro has passed away.
According to a sign on the door of the Rouses Point Civic Center, the regularly-scheduled village board meeting was canceled "due to the death of Trustee John F. Huchro."
No other details were available Monday night.
The board was expected to hold a special meeting Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the village offices.
