Police nab three in connection with Bloomingdale burglary

Three local men were taken into custody late last week in connection with a burglary first reported earlier this spring.

Ray Brook-based state police arrested 20-year-old Tyler R. Jermano of Bloomingdale at 3:43 p.m. Thursday at Troop B headquarters in Ray Brook. They later arrested 19-year-old Andrew J. Tedford, also of Bloomingdale, at 4:20 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the town of St. Armand and 18-year-old Joseph E. Boyle of Saranac Lake at 1:22 p.m. Friday.

All three have been charged with third-degree burglary, a class-D felony.

Initial reports indicate the subjects were responsible for a residential burglary that occurred the morning of April 15 in Bloomingdale.

Jermano and Tedford were released on their own recognizance. Boyle was remanded to Essex County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

The three subjects are scheduled to appear in town court at a later date.
